西医说人体需要各种各样的营养元素,而对于中医来说,人体最需要的就是气和血。可以说人体就是靠气血在供养着,气行血行,气滞血淤。气血充足,运行通畅,人就会健康长寿,否则人就容易得病。中医所推崇的阿胶、红枣、当归,留传千古的四物汤等都是补血的;而人参、白术、黄芪等都是用来补气的,只要气血和顺,人体自然不会出问题。所以,养生最重要的一点就是养气血。气血充盈,百病不生。
